Yacht Club or Race Chairmen. Boats may be rafted up on Silver Gate’s
docks. No cost to participants.

Familiarization fun race: Thursday, September 23rd, 2010 at 5.00 PM
starting and
finishing in front of Silver Gate’s clubhouse. Approximately
1 hour.
Sailmaker Presentation: Thursday, September 23rd,
2010 at 8.00 PM by Chuck
Skewes of Ullman Sails, San Diego. He will discuss sail trim and tactics
and answer
questions.
Non-compulsory skippers Meeting: Friday, Sept 24th, 2010 10.00AM on
the patio at
Silver Gate Yacht Club.
Dates of racing:
Friday September 24th, 2010 - race 1 and race 2. Random-leg races.
Starting area: San
Diego channel buoy 17.
Saturday, September 25th, 2010 – race 3 and race 4. Windward/leeward
races. Starting
area: Coronado Roadstead, Pacific Ocean, off Point Loma.
Sunday, September 26th, 2010 race 5. Random-leg race. Spinnaker Classes:
starting area channel Buoy 17. Southwestern Yacht Club pursuit style
Ocean race.
Other Fleets: starting area San Diego channel buoy 19. City front course.
*The scheduled time of the warning signal for the first race each day
is 12.00.
Trophy Presentation: Sunday, September 26th, 2010 approximately 3.30PM.

Ordering Box Lunches for racing days. Thursday September 23rd, 2010
to 5.00PM.
(Alternately, sandwiches may be ordered from nearby delicatessens.)

Friday - "Taste of Mexico" Buffet on patio or in ballroom.
Beef, chix & vegetable fajitas,
beef, chix & vegetable enchiladas, Mexican rice, beans and dessert
$20 or less (including
tax & tip). Strawberry margarita special. Reservations Required.
Saturday - Hawaiian Night with entertainment jointly with SGYC members,
$35 or less
(tax and tip included). Reservations Required.
